The Sliding Sash Window
The sliding sash windows are one the most popular and traditional designs that fit in perfectly with old and new properties. They are secure and strong by design. Air is circulated well with the installation of these windows. They can also be combined with other styles of double glazing window including casement and tilt and turn windows to make bespoke window design for your property.
There are two ways that you can open these windows, a bottom and vertical slide mechanism. These windows are secure and include a child safe restrictor so that the bottom window does not open more than 120mm, although there is an override function for it to be opened fully. A secure locking mechanism and handle come in a selection of colours and for windows over 1 metre in length, extra protection is offered through two or more handles.

Tilt and turn windows can be combined with other styles of double glazing to create a unique glazing solution for your home or commercial property. Tilt and turn are convenient and beneficial, especially if you're limited in the amount of wall space that can be used for windows. The dual opening mechanism means that the window can be opened from the top to provide a safe and secure method of ventilating a room or it can be opened fully using the side hinges in order to enable full ventilation and easy cleaning of the outside of the window.
Tilt and turn windows can be combined with other styles of double glazing to create a unique glazing solution for your home or commercial property. One of the greatest features of the tilt and turn window is its flexibility. Turn the handle to the first setting and the window can be opened a fraction from the top to allow ventilation. Turn the handle all the way and the window can be opened fully on its side hinges - ideal for greater ventilation and to make cleaning the outside even simpler.
